Role Overview

Reporting to the Training Lead, the Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and supporting the administration, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Rook I Training Program including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This role will support the Training Lead by closely monitoring and maintaining ISNetworld, SuccessFactors, SharePoint, and Project Onboarding eLearning for accurate information, quality reporting, and compliance requirements. 

This is a 16-month fixed-term contract for a maternity leave coverage.

Location
This role is based in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office with travel to the Rook I project site as required. For the right candidate this role can be remote with travel to the project site as required.

Key Responsibilities

(Including but not limited to)
  • Supporting the implementation of the Rook I Training Program and supporting processes to ensure alignment and conformity with regulatory requirements and applicable frameworks and standards.
  • Administer and monitor training data and workflows within LMS platforms (e.g. ISNetworld, SuccessFactors) ensuring accurate records, quality reporting, and effective system utilization.
  • Understand LMS functionality and provide guidance or solutions for correct application usage and user-related issues.
  • Support the design and development of training related materials, processes and documentation in alignment with licensed requirements.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to implement and deliver training courses to meet Project and site-specific needs.
  • Support the continual improvement and functionality of training related systems to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Support the development and implementation of project onboarding and site orientations.
  • Coordinating and supporting follow-up assessments to reinforce existing learning.
  • Participating in internal auditing activities as required and supporting the Project with additional monitoring and measurement activities as assigned.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Degree/diploma or certificate in Adult Education, Education, Safety or other related field (or equivalent experience).
  •  Experience with LMS platforms especially SuccessFactors is considered an asset.
  • Related skills and knowledge aligned with a systematic approach to training.
  • Experience in the energy, mining, engineering, or heavy industry sectors is desirable.
  • Proactive attitude attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement.
