Role Overview

Reporting to the Lead, Health and Safety, the Health, Safety, Environment, Radiation (HSER) Admin ensures systems, records, and processes that support regulatory and operational excellence function effectively. The HSER Admin is a highly organized professional who has strong attention to detail and wants to contribute to a strong safety, environmental, radiation protection and regulatory compliance culture.   

Location
This role will be based in our Saskatoon, SK Project office. For the right candidate this role can also be a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

(Including but not limited to)
  • Maintain and organize HSER files, records, procedures, reports, and compliance-related documentation. 
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc HSER reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Schedule and coordinate drug, alcohol, and occupational health testing as needed.
  • Assist with document management processes and document development.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual HSER performance reports.
  • Support HSER financial reporting and cost tracking.
  • Support incident reporting processes and maintain associated documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Monitor contractor management system and ensure compliance, report deficiencies to supervisor.
  • Ensure required compliance items are met for the Rook I site camp accommodation bookings.
  • Support site HSER team's initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of HSER communications and awareness materials. 
  • Assist with travel arrangements and bookings for the HSER team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Diploma or certificate in business administration, occupational health & safety, environmental studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of administration experience, preferably supporting Health & Safety, Environmental, Regulatory, or Mining teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with document management, learning management, or incident tracking systems is an asset (i.e., Cority, Omega365, SAP).
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
