Role Overview
LOCATION
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in geological work including core logging, sample collection, and QA/QC to ensure exploration best practices.
- Interpretation and reporting of geological data, assisting with geological models, and working with the Exploration Team to advance project understanding.
- Complete field work to ensure drill programs are conducted to high standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
- Knowledge of geological software and databases considered an asset but not required (Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Geosoft, acQuire, etc).
- Fluent computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications, (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in working with a broad range of people.
- Comfortable working field rotations to support drill programs in remote locations.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety and demonstrates safety leadership.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
